How Do They Work?
Mold is a microscopic fungus, and thus it is hard to see it with the naked eyes. They filter these allergens through the use of filters, electrical attraction, or the ozone.
Filters utilize top-quality sieves that filter particles from circulating air. As it flows into the cleaner, the better and more delicate the screen used, the smaller the particles it traps.
The best cleaner for mold spores is the High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters, which is guaranteed to capture 99.97% of airborne particles larger than 0.3 microns. Room air conditioner filters only capture particles 10.0 microns or larger.
HEPA filters remove smaller allergens like these stubborn mold spores, dust, smoke, chemicals, asbestos, pollen, and pet dander.
