5. How often should you run an Air Purifier?

It depends on the size of the room and the air purifier you use. When you use your purifier for the first time, it is advisable to run it for at least 2 hours on the highest speed- if it is a large room let it run for longer, at least four hours. After using on top speed, you can turn it down to a slower rate. When switching it back on after a while, repeat the process by starting on high speed and turning it to a lower rate.

6. What is a HEPA filter?

HEPA stands for High-Efficiency Particulate Air. HEPA air purifiers capture common allergens, such as pollen, mold spores, dust, bacteria, etc., in the air around us. It is custom that HEPA filters are tested to certify that they eliminate at least 99.97% of all particles 0.3 microns and larger.

Ozone releasing purifiers are often limited to commercial air purifiers and do create high-quality air. However, if you have asthma try to avoid areas with a high-level ozone.
