It just breezes through everything, from tiny dust specks to bigger chunks of debris.

What really stands out for me is how well it adapts to different floor types.

The filtration system isn’t the best of the best, but it does a pretty solid job in trapping particles without much leakage.

I’ve had the chance to test out the Shop-Vac 2021005, and I’ve got to say, it’s quite a mixed bag. For the smaller jobs, it’s got enough suction power to get by, but when it comes to the heavy stuff, it just doesn’t cut it. 

This makes it a bit of a letdown for any serious cleaning. 

I noticed it does better on hard floors than on carpets, but the real gem here is its filtration system. It traps fine particles really well, which is impressive for its size. 

I’m a bit on the fence about how long it’ll last with regular, heavy use, though. 

It feels sturdy but time will tell. In terms of value, it’s decent for the price, especially if you’re just using it for light cleaning around the house. The thing that really stands out is how portable it is. 

Despite being small, it’s super easy to move around, even in tight spots.

Now, when I put it side by side with the Husky 9-Gallon, Ridgid 6-Gallon NXT, and Craftsman 9-Gallon vacuums, the Shop-Vac’s portability is a clear winner. 

The others have it beat in suction power and capacity, but if you’re short on space, this little guy is a breeze to store. That said, it’s not your go-to for heavy-duty cleaning.

Talking about upgrades, the 2021005 is a step up from the older 2020005 model.

After testing the DeWalt DCV581H, I’ve got to say, it really holds its own in terms of suction power for a portable vacuum. It’s great on hard floors, but on carpets, it’s not quite as effective. 

The filtration system is what really stands out – it keeps the air clean while you’re working. It feels well-built too, which makes me think it’s going to last a long time. 

Sure, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but considering what you’re getting, I’d say it’s worth it. 

And here’s the kicker – it’s surprisingly lightweight, making it super easy to carry around.

Now, when you stack it up against the Ridgid 12-Gallon and 14-Gallon NXT Wet/Dry Vacs, the DeWalt’s portability is a clear winner. 

It’s cordless and lighter, which means moving it around is a breeze compared to the bigger, bulkier Ridgid models. 

And though the Greenworks 40V Vac is also cordless, the DeWalt just does a better job with its filtration system, giving you cleaner air while you work.

Building on what the DeWalt DCV580K started, the DCV581H is like the upgraded version you didn’t know you needed. 

It’s got more suction power, a HEPA filter for cleaner air, and it’s compact, which is great for both pros and DIY enthusiasts.

On a trip, it effortlessly removed 14 gallons of water from a soaked tent. Its dry vacuuming is adequate but could benefit from more fabric-oriented accessories.
• Solid Build & Satisfactory Suction – This vacuum is solidly built and portable. Its suction is good, though not outstanding. I chose Dewalt for its brand reliability and compatibility with my existing batteries. Upgrading to stronger batteries improved performance. It’s effective for minor house repairs and vehicle cleaning, though a longer hose and a crevice tool would be welcome.
• Effective for Light-Duty Tasks – As a portable unit, it’s effective for light-duty tasks, such as cleaning my car and concrete hallway stairs at work. I’ve had a good run testing the Ridgid NXT, and let me tell you, its suction power is something else. 

It handles wet and dry messes like a champ, making it super versatile for different surfaces, be it hardwood or carpet. 

But I’ve got to say, its filtration system could be better – it lets some fine dust slip through. 

The build feels solid and durable, but this thing is heavier than I thought, which makes moving it around a bit of a workout. 

Price-wise, it’s pretty reasonable, giving you a solid bang for your buck. 

And here’s a kicker – the battery life is surprisingly longer than what the specs say, making it a trusty tool for those longer cleaning sessions.

When I put it up against the Milwaukee M18 and Makita VC400ZK, the NXT just outdoes them in suction, especially when dealing with wet messes. 

And compared to the DeWalt DCV581H, which is nifty for its portability, the NXT wins with its larger capacity – means less emptying and more cleaning. 

It even beats the Milwaukee and Makita in battery life, so you’re not constantly looking for a charger.

All in all, the Ridgid NXT is a step up from its predecessors. It’s got a beefier motor, more room in the tank, and a filter that cleans itself – pretty neat. 

It’s tackled the usual gripes like wheels slipping, not-so-great precision, batteries dying too soon, and missing a self-cleaning filter head-on.

• Design Flaws & Inadequate Battery Compartment – The plastic cover for the battery compartment feels flimsy, and the hose often gets in the way. The side latches on the tank are troublesome, and the hose has a free-spinning ring that lets suction escape, which I might fix with duct tape.
• Poor Filter Design & Excessive Noise – As a long-time RIDGID tool customer, I’m disappointed with this vacuum. The filter is hard to attach, the hose is too short, and there’s no storage for tools or the hose. It also became excessively noisy after the second use, which is a significant drawback.

I’ve had the chance to test out the Ridgid Vacuum 12 Gallon HD1200FA, and let me tell you, it’s quite the machine. 

The suction power is really something – it breezes through different types of floors like a champ. 

What I particularly appreciate is its filtration system; it’s super efficient at trapping dust and debris, which is a huge plus for anyone with allergies. 

This vacuum is built like a tank, so I’m pretty confident it’s going to last a long time.

Now, when I compared it to the Shop-Vac 14, Craftsman 16, and DeWalt 16 Gallon models, the Ridgid definitely had the upper hand in maneuverability. 

It just moves around more easily, which is a big deal in my book. 

Plus, its filtration system is a step ahead of the Craftsman’s, which is great for keeping the air clean.

The HD1200FA is a serious upgrade from its predecessors. It’s got a powerful 5.0 peak HP motor and a bigger tank, not to mention a sturdier design. 

The self-cleaning filter is a lifesaver, and the QUIET TECHNOLOGY really cuts down on the noise. 

They’ve really thought about everything – from fixing the wheel slip issue to improving battery life.

All in all, it’s a solid piece of equipment that’s worth checking out.

And here’s a kicker – it’s quieter than you’d expect. Despite its power, it doesn’t make a racket like most heavy-duty vacuums.

Now, when I put it head-to-head with the RIDGID WD1851, Shop-Vac 5989300, and Craftsman CMXEVBE17250, the Beast really lives up to its name. 

It’s got way more suction power than the others. The RIDGID and Craftsman are pretty durable, but the Beast feels even more solid and like it’s built to last. 

The Shop-Vac is easier on the wallet, but if you’re looking for top-notch cleaning and a reliable filtration system, the Beast is worth the extra bucks.

Comparing it to its older sibling, the Vacmaster Professional VFB511, the latest model is a serious step up. 

They’ve boosted the suction power by 10%, which you can really feel. 

The filtration system got a big upgrade too – it catches tiny particles like a champ. 

And I’m really digging the new metal construction and reinforced hose – it just feels sturdier and more durable. 

They’ve really outdone themselves with this upgrade.

It traps a whopping 99.7% of particles, even those as small as 0.3 microns. I was pretty impressed with that.

But here’s the kicker: they’ve beefed up its durability. 

We’re talking metal construction and a reinforced hose, which, let me tell you, makes a world of difference if you’re using it regularly. It feels more solid, more reliable. 

The build quality on the earlier models felt a bit iffy, but with the SL18129, they’ve really turned it around.

The suction power on this thing is impressive – it breezes through both fine dust and bigger chunks without breaking a sweat. 

When I tried it on different floors, from hardwood to carpet, it did a great job, especially on the harder surfaces. 

The filtration system’s decent too, catching most of the dust, though it’s not perfect for the really fine stuff.

What really sets it apart, though, is how light and easy to handle it is. 

Compared to bulkier models like the RIDGID WD1851 and Shop-Vac 5989300, the CRAFTSMAN is a breeze to move around and store. 

Even the Vacmaster VFB511, which is kind of similar in size, doesn’t quite match up to the CRAFTSMAN’s suction power. 

For anyone who needs a good mix of power and ease of use, this vacuum’s definitely the way to go.

Comparing it to the older CRAFTSMAN models, the CMXEVBE17150 and CMXEVBE17050, there’s a clear difference. 

The suction power’s been bumped up by 20%, and the filtration system now catches almost every tiny particle.

I’ve been using the Lefant M210 and it’s a game changer for pet hair. 

This little machine glides over my hardwood floors and makes quick work of the fuzz balls my retriever leaves behind. It even switches to rugs and tiles without skipping a beat. 

What I love is its compact size, but don’t let that fool you; the filtration is top-notch, although it does need a clean out now and then. 

It’s sturdy, yet I can whisk it from room to room with ease because it’s so light. And the cost? Totally reasonable.

Now, thresholds can be a real challenge for robot vacuums, but not for my M210. It just hops over them better than the eufy RoboVac G30 ever could. 

I’ve tried the Roborock E5 and the Roomba 694 as well, and they’re smart, but when it comes to getting your money’s worth, the M210 wins hands down. 

I don’t even hesitate to carry it upstairs; it’s that lightweight.

Being the latest in Lefant’s lineup, the M210’s got this strong suction power that doesn’t quit, and its carpet boost feature is a nice touch.

I’ve had a go with the Fykee Cordless Vacuum and let me tell you, its suction is something else, making short work of both carpets and hard floors. 

The air feels cleaner too after I use it, all thanks to that top-notch filtration system. 

It’s so light and easy to whisk around my place, even when I’m dodging furniture or heading upstairs. 

But, I’ve got to say, I’m a bit wary about how long it’ll hold up; the attachments seem a bit on the fragile side. 

And get this — the battery life goes beyond what they promise, which was a really nice surprise in the middle of a big clean.

Now, when I stack it up against the Tineco Pure One S15, the Fykee’s just got more oomph in the suction department.
