    Home Cleaning

Our Expert Opinion of the BISSELL 2252

Having had the chance to get up close with the BISSELL 2252, I can genuinely vouch for its impressive suction.

The way it smoothly transitions from hardwood to carpets? Just stellar.

And while its filtration system is pretty darn good at snagging those pesky allergens, I believe there's a wee bit of room for improvement.

Holding it, you can sense its sturdy build, suggesting it's in for the long haul.

But what really made me raise an eyebrow? Its whisper-quiet operation, not something I was expecting given what the specs said.

Now, stacking it against the competition, the BISSELL 2252 definitely outdoes the Hoover UH74550PC when dealing with thick carpets.

Sure, the Shark NV360 can dart around with ease, but the BISSELL nails it with its spot-on edge cleaning.

And while I appreciate the lightness of the Eureka NEU181, the BISSELL feels like the right combo of power and weight, especially when you're in for a long cleaning marathon.

Stepping up from its cousins, the BISSELL Cleanview Swivel Pet 2258W and the Pet Hair Eraser 2252N, the BISSELL 2252 is a game-changer.

With a beefed-up motor, a smarter brushroll to fend off those annoying hair tangles, a cord that just seems to go on forever, and a heftier dustbin, it's clear this bad boy's got the edge.

When it comes to value in its price range, I'd say BISSELL's hit a home run with this one.

Our Ratings of the BISSELL 2252

    Suction Power 8.5
The BISSELL 2252 has good suction power, especially for its price point. It is capable of cleaning up dirt, dust, and pet hair from carpets and hard floors.
    Filtration System Quality 8.2
The BISSELL 2252 uses a two-stage filtration system that includes a pre-filter and a HEPA filter. The pre-filter removes large particles such as dust and pollen, and the HEPA filter removes 99.7% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns.
Price & Value for Money 9.2
The BISSELL 2252 is very reasonably priced, especially considering its good performance and features. It is a great value for the money.
    Durability & Build Quality 8.3
The BISSELL 2252 is well-built and durable. It is made of high-quality materials, and it feels solid and sturdy to the touch.
    Weight & Portability 7.9
The BISSELL 2252 is a bit heavy and bulky, especially compared to cordless vacuums. However, it is still relatively easy to maneuver and carry around the house.
    Cord vs Cordless 8.0
The BISSELL 2252 is a corded vacuum. This means that you will need to plug it into an outlet in order to use it. However, the cord is very long, so you should have no problem placing the vacuum in the desired location.

    Who’s the BISSELL 2252 For?

    • Pet Owners - Exceptional at picking up pet hair on various surfaces.
    • People With Multi-Floor Homes - Excellently adapts to hardwood, rugs, and carpets.
    • Frequent Quick Cleaners - Lightweight and maneuverable for swift cleaning sessions.

Who Should Avoid the BISSELL 2252?

    • Minimalists Seeking Uncluttered Spaces - Attachments don't fit on the unit itself, causing storage hassles.
    • Those Needing Extended Reach - Short hose limits cleaning in expansive or high areas.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

    Pros of the BISSELL 2252

    • Suction Power & Pet Hair Performance - The vacuum's suction power is outstanding, especially when it comes to picking up pet hair, making it perfect for households with pets.
    • Cleaning Performance on Different Floor Types & Versatility - The vacuum excels on various surfaces, including hardwood floors, rugs, and carpets. The bristles on the vacuum effectively pick up hairs, even those deeply embedded into the carpet.
    • Maneuverability & Weight - The swivel steering feature is fantastic. It effortlessly navigates around furniture, and the vacuum is lightweight, allowing easy and quick cleaning sessions.
    • Attachments & Filtration System Quality - The hose attachment with a brush is particularly useful for cleaning hard-to-reach areas and furniture, enhancing its overall performance.
    • Price, Value for Money & Durability - Given its range of features and cleaning prowess, the vacuum offers excellent value for its cost.

    Cons of the BISSELL 2252

    • Short Hose and Awkward Design - I found the short hose to be quite limiting, especially when trying to reach tight spaces or clean stairs. Additionally, the vacuum's design often caused it to tip over, and I struggled to find convenient storage for all the provided accessories.
    • Frustrating Maintenance - During my testing, I discovered that cleaning the brush roll was a tedious process due to the need to unscrew multiple parts. Moreover, the dust canister's design trapped debris around the filter, making it a challenge to empty without manually removing the trapped fur.
    • Poor Durability - Unfortunately, the durability of this vacuum left much to be desired. I encountered several mechanical issues, including broken belts, even after minimal usage. It became evident that the vacuum struggled to withstand the demands of households with a high level of pet hair.

Handy Cordless Multiple Floor Surface Vacuum Cleaner

    HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

    Overall Rating 7.8
Handy for small spaces and light messes, but battery life could be better.

Click To Check The Latest Price

Our Expert Opinion of the HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

The HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner really caught my attention with its powerful suction.

I've tried it on hardwood, carpets, and area rugs, and it's consistent every time. I love the filtration system too; you can genuinely feel the clean air coming out.

The only thing? It's a bit heavy, so moving it around takes some effort.

And let's talk value — it definitely gives the pricier models like the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute and Tineco Pure ONE S12 a run for their money.

Now, the Shark Vertex Ultralight does have that fancy self-cleaning brushroll, but when it comes to versatility across different floors, HOMPANY is my go-to.

Don't get me wrong, the Dyson V15 packs a punch in the suction department, but dollar for dollar, HOMPANY wins in value.

And, have you seen the latest HOMPANY model? It's a game-changer.

Stronger motor, that cool 5-cone design for dust separation, and it even stands up by itself!

Not to mention, the battery lasts a whole hour.

It's definitely a step up from the older Hompany SmartVac 11.

Our Ratings of the HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

    Suction Power 9.5
The HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has a suction power of 26Kpa. This is good for a cordless vacuum cleaner, but it is not as powerful as some of the leading brands on the market. However, it is still powerful enough to clean most surfaces, including carpets and hard floors.
    Filtration System Quality 7.8
The HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner uses a three-stage filtration system that includes a pre-filter, a HEPA filter, and a sponge filter. The pre-filter removes large particles such as dust and pollen, the HEPA filter removes 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, and the sponge filter traps any remaining particles.
Price & Value for Money 8.2
The HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is very reasonably priced, especially considering its performance and features. It is also a very energy-efficient vacuum cleaner, which can save you money on your electricity bill in the long run.
    Durability & Build Quality 7.7
The HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is well-built and durable. It is made of high-quality materials, and it feels solid and sturdy to the touch. However, some users have reported that the vacuum cleaner can be a bit difficult to maneuver, and that the attachments are not as durable as they could be.
    Weight & Portability 9.1
The HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is very lightweight and portable. It weighs just 4.5 pounds, and it has a convenient carrying handle. This makes it easy to move the vacuum cleaner from room to room, and to clean stairs and other hard-to-reach areas.
    Cord vs Cordless 8.0
The HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is a cordless vacuum cleaner. This means that you will not have to worry about tripping over a cord or having to find an outlet to plug it into. This makes it a very convenient vacuum cleaner to use.

Who Should Avoid the HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner?

    • Extensive Cleaning Enthusiasts - Its battery life might not support longer cleaning sessions.
    • Detailed Cleaners Seeking Strong Suction - May not pick up all particles on certain surfaces.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

Pros of the HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

    • Suction Power & Efficiency - I found the vacuum's suction quite impressive for most common debris. Even on the lowest setting, it manages to pick up various items, from dog food to small toys, with ease.
    • Cleaning Performance on Different Floor Types - For me, the vacuum performed admirably on different surfaces, including hardwood floors, area rugs, and carpets. It's versatile and effective across the board.
    • Filtration System Quality & Maintenance - Emptying the canister is straightforward with just a push of a button, and I loved that I didn't have to clean the brush constantly despite frequent use.
    • Durability & Build Quality - The design, especially the unique V-shape of the brush, stood out to me. I've been using it daily for over a month and it's still going strong. Plus, its lightweight nature makes it easy to maneuver.
    • Price, Value for Money & User Experience - I believe this vacuum offers great value for its price. It's not only effective but also aesthetically pleasing. It's an excellent alternative to more expensive brands, giving similar, if not better, performance.

Cons of the HOMPANY Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

    • Clumsy Design and Charging Challenges - The vacuum's design is bulky, impeding maneuverability, and its tall brush head limits access under furniture. Charging it, especially in dimly lit areas, is more cumbersome than I anticipated.
    • Battery Performance and Charging Deficiencies - I experienced a swift decline in battery life, with significant issues in charging and a complete battery failure after minimal usage.
    • Small Dirt Canister and Noise Issues - The dirt canister's capacity is disappointingly small, and the vacuum becomes excessively loud, shutting off after just a short duration of use.

Our Expert Opinion of the Eureka Home

    Alright, let's dive into this.

The Eureka Home has this amazing suction that just picks up everything, whether I'm cleaning my carpets or the hardwood floors.

Now, I wish it had a HEPA filter because, you know, those tiny allergens can be tricky.

But what really caught my attention was how lightweight it is, given its sturdy build.

The value you get for the price? Spot on.

Now, when I stacked it up against the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe NV360 and the Bissell Cleanview Swivel Pet 2258W, I've got to say, the Eureka Home was way easier to lug around.

And while the Hoover WindTunnel Max Pet UH74550PC does pack a punch with its suction, the Eureka Home just nails it when it comes to adaptability on different floors.

Oh, and for those of you who've tried the older Eureka models like the PowerSpeed Bagless NEU181 or the Mighty Mite Corded 3670G, you're in for a treat.

The Eureka Home's motor is more powerful, the brushroll's been redesigned to avoid those annoying hair tangles, and the cord's longer, so you can reach more spaces.

Plus, a bigger dustbin means fewer trips to the trash. It feels like Eureka really stepped up their game with this one.

Our Ratings of the Eureka Home

    Suction Power 8.4
The Eureka Home Lightweight Stick Vacuum Cleaner has good suction power, especially for a stick vacuum. It is capable of picking up dirt, dust, and pet hair from a variety of surfaces, including carpets, hard floors, and upholstery.
    Filtration System Quality 7.9
The Eureka Home Lightweight Stick Vacuum Cleaner uses a two-stage filtration system that includes a washable filter and a HEPA filter. The washable filter traps large particles, such as dust and dirt, and the HEPA filter traps 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns. However, the filtration system is not as good as some other stick vacuums on the market.
Price & Value for Money 8.1
The Eureka Home Lightweight Stick Vacuum Cleaner is very reasonably priced, especially considering its good suction power and versatility. It is a great value for the money.
    Durability & Build Quality 7.8
The Eureka Home Lightweight Stick Vacuum Cleaner is well-built, but it is not as durable as some other stick vacuums on the market. The plastic parts can feel a bit flimsy, and the vacuum cleaner is not as heavy-duty as some other models.
    Weight & Portability 8.2
The Eureka Home Lightweight Stick Vacuum Cleaner is very lightweight and portable. It weighs just 4 pounds, and it has a convenient carrying handle. This makes it easy to move the vacuum cleaner from room to room and to carry it up and down stairs.
    Cord vs Cordless 8.0
The Eureka Home Lightweight Stick Vacuum Cleaner is a corded vacuum cleaner. This means that you will need to plug it into an outlet in order to use it. However, the cord is very long, so you should have no problem placing the vacuum cleaner in the desired location.

    • People with Larger Homes or Multiple Pets - The vacuum struggles with suction power and has a small dirt canister, making it unsuitable for extensive cleaning needs or homes with several pets.
    • Heavy-Duty Cleaners - Not suited for extensive, rigorous cleaning due to durability concerns.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

    Pros of the Eureka Home

    • Suction Power & Cleaning Performance - I've found the Eureka vacuum to have impressive suction capabilities. It handles both hardwood floors and carpets with ease, thanks to its two-speed motorized brush roll.
    • Filtration System Quality - Although the vacuum doesn't come with a HEPA filter, I appreciate its current filtration system. The washable filters are a big plus for me, ensuring cleanliness without the hassle.
    • Price & Value for Money - Personally, I believe the vacuum offers excellent value for its price. Given the performance it delivers, I think it's well worth the investment.
    • Weight & Portability - One of the standout features for me is its lightweight design. I can easily maneuver it around my home, and it's been a game-changer, especially since I have some health issues.
    • Build Quality & Attachments - The vacuum comes with handy attachments like the crevice tool and 2-in-1 brush. I've found these tools quite useful, enhancing the cleaning experience.

    Cons of the Eureka Home

    • Durability Concerns - I was initially happy with the Eureka Flash vacuum, but over time, I've experienced issues. For instance, certain parts broke earlier than I anticipated, and the motor malfunctioned after just a few months.
    • Challenges with Replacement Parts - While I appreciate the vacuum's performance, I was disappointed when I tried to secure replacement parts. Not only did they seem pricey, but the availability was also a concern for me.
    • Customer Service Experience - After facing some challenges with the vacuum, I reached out for support. Unfortunately, my interactions were less than satisfactory. I wish there were more effective communication channels for after-sales assistance.

    Dyson V15 Detect Absolute

    Overall Rating 9.5
Superior cleaning performance with high-tech features, though pricey.

Click To Check The Latest Price

Our Expert Opinion of the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute

When I first laid hands on the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute, I was instantly blown away by its suction power.

Cleaning everything from hardwood to carpets felt like a breeze.

And can we talk about that filtration system? It's like a tiny security guard making sure even the most elusive dust particles don't escape.

Although its performance is top-tier, that price tag is something to ponder on; it's a bit on the steeper side.

Now, having played around with the Shark Vertex and Tineco Pure ONE S12, I'll admit they're no slouches.

But neither matches up to the Dyson when it comes to spotting those sneaky, microscopic dirt particles.

As for the Bissell ICONpet, it's the go-to for pet hair situations, but overall? The Dyson still takes the crown in the performance department.

The latest Dyson V15? Oh, it's leaps and bounds ahead of its older siblings.

The motor's got more pep, pulling in dirt like never before.

The laser dust detection? Pure genius, revealing those crafty hidden particles.

Less noise thanks to the new acoustic chamber, a brushroll that laughs in the face of tangles, and a battery that just goes on and on.

Trust me, this is a game-changer in the cleaning world compared to the earlier models.

Our Ratings of the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute

    Suction Power 9.8
The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute has the most powerful suction power of any cordless vacuum cleaner on the market. It can easily remove even the most stubborn dirt and debris from all types of surfaces.
    Filtration System Quality 9.6
The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute uses a five-stage filtration system that removes 99.99% of dust particles as small as 0.3 microns. This makes it ideal for people with allergies or asthma.
Price & Value for Money 9.3
The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is expensive, but it is worth the investment for its superior performance and features. It is also very well-built and durable, so it should last for many years.
    Durability & Build Quality 9.2
The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is made of high-quality materials and feels very solid and well-built. It is also backed by Dyson's excellent warranty.
    Weight & Portability 8.6
The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is a bit heavier than some other cordless vacuum cleaners, but it is still relatively lightweight and easy to maneuver. It also has a long battery life, so you can easily clean your entire home without having to recharge it.
    Cord vs Cordless 8.0
The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is a cordless vacuum cleaner, which means that you can use it anywhere without having to worry about cords. This is a major advantage over corded vacuum cleaners, especially if you have a large home or multiple floors.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

Pros of the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute

    • Suction Power & Performance - The Dyson V15 has strong suction, and I found it exceptionally effective on both carpet and hardwood floors. It efficiently picked up everything from dirt and dust to pet hair and tiny particles.
    • Weight & Portability - The vacuum isn't too heavy, and I could maneuver it easily, which I found user-friendly. Vacuuming stairs became much more convenient with this model.
    • Filtration System & Dust Management - I was impressed by how well the vacuum trapped dust, ensuring cleaner air in my home. Its filtration system was a big plus for me, especially with my sensitivities to dust particles.
    • Ease of Use & Attachments - Operating the vacuum was straightforward, and I appreciated the variety of attachments. They were easy to install and remove, and each one seemed designed for its purpose.
    • Price & Value for Money - Although it's priced on the higher end, I felt the Dyson V15 was worth the investment because of its performance, quality, and versatility.

Cons of the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute

    • Battery Life & Power Modes - When I used the higher power setting, the battery didn't last as long as I'd hoped, especially when cleaning larger spaces. The Eco mode did save battery, but I found it lacked the punch I sometimes needed.
    • Build Quality & Durability Concerns - I experienced some issues with certain functionalities of the vacuum, which made me question its long-term durability.

Our Expert Opinion of the Tineco Floor One S7 Pro

The Tineco Floor One S7 Pro? Oh, let me tell you, it's a game-changer. I was blown away by its powerful suction, tackling even the trickiest of spills.

And the way it handles all sorts of floors, whether it's hardwood or tile, is just consistent and impressive.

What got me, though, is not just its impressive filtration system, but its sturdy build – that thing feels like it's built to last!

And considering all its features, it's pretty well-priced.

You'd think with all that power, it'd be a beast to move around, but it's surprisingly lightweight and nimble.

Now, I've also tried the Bissell CrossWave Max Pet Pro and the Shark HydroVac XL.

While they're decent in their own right, the Tineco's battery life stands tall. I've used the Dreametech W10 too, and while it cleans well, the Tineco has a slight edge when adapting to different floor types.

Plus, handling the Tineco just feels more intuitive, if you ask me.

And if you're wondering how the Tineco Floor One S7 Pro compares to its older model, it's like they took all the feedback and made it even better.

The motor feels punchier, and that dual-edge cleaning feature? Genius for those hard-to-reach spots. I was cleaning away, and before I knew it, 40 minutes had passed – all on a single charge.

And the smart sensor? It's like it knows what floor type you're on and adjusts accordingly. Honestly, it feels like a huge step up from the previous model.

    • Simplicity Seekers - Extra features might feel overwhelming and unnecessary.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

Pros of the Tineco Floor One S7 Pro

    • Suction Power & Cleaning Performance - I was genuinely impressed by how this device tackled those annoying spills and food debris. If you've got kids, especially toddlers, this is a lifesaver! After using it, I hardly noticed any dirt on my child's feet and hands.
    • Battery Life & Usability - The 40-minute runtime? It's just perfect for my 2-bedroom townhouse. And that screen interface is a breeze to navigate. Makes you feel like you've got everything under control.

Cons of the Tineco Floor One S7 Pro

    • Maintenance & Tank Issues - Empting that dirty water tank manually after every use? It's a bit of a pain. And don’t get me started on those tangled hairs. Plus, I had a bit of a hiccup with the tank, and the customer service experience? Let's just say it left a lot to be desired.
    • Functionality & Wheel Design - Those wheels, man! Sometimes they seem to have a mind of their own, veering in directions I don’t intend. Also, being limited to only Tineco’s cleaning solution? Not cool. I tried a different solution once and, well, it wasn't pretty.
    • Cost & Those Additional Expenses - Okay, the initial price is a bit of a pinch. But what really gets me is how quickly I run through the cleaning solution. Plus, the added cost of replacing parts like the brush head and filters every year? It all adds up.

What's cool is how its top-notch filtration captures those sneaky fine particles, ensuring I'm not just pushing air around.

But let's talk about the real game changer: its feather-light feel. It genuinely keeps other vacuums on their toes.

Now, putting it side by side with the Dyson V15 Detect Total Clean, the Shark's price point feels way more pocket-friendly.

I also took the Bissell ICONpet Cordless Stick Vacuum for a spin, and the Shark definitely had that extra oomph in suction.

But when I compared it to the Tineco Pure ONE S12, what stood out was the Shark's promise of longevity.

Speaking of upgrades, the latest Shark Vertex Ultralight Corded Stick with DuoClean PowerFins & Self-Cleaning Brushroll? It's a league of its own.

Between the ramped-up suction, that new and improved HEPA filter, a brushroll that's got zero time for tangles, the handy self-cleaning touch, and that extra-long cord, this model has seriously upped the ante for the entire Shark Vertex Ultralight lineup.

The durability? Just by holding it, you can tell it’s built to last.

But here's the kicker: for such a powerhouse, it's super light and easy to move around.

Out of the four machines I’ve gotten my hands on, the Tineco Floor ONE S3 has this neat communication system. It gives you real-time feedback, something the others seemed to miss out on.

The Bissell CrossWave Max and Shark HydroVac? They're good, don't get me wrong, but when it comes to shifting between floor types, Tineco has it in the bag.

And while the Dreametech W10 does have a battery that goes on and on, when it comes to straight-up cleaning, Tineco is the champ.

Oh, and did I mention? The Tineco Floor ONE S3 is the upgraded kid on the block. It packs a more potent motor punch, making pet hair and dirt disappear like magic.

And that self-cleaning function? A total game-changer. The larger bins mean less emptying and refilling, which is always a win in my book.

The best part? The battery just keeps going, way longer than the older models.

Cons of the Tineco Floor ONE S3

    • Manual & Instruction Clarity - I found the manual that came with the machine a bit confusing, especially regarding the inclusion of extra rollers and HEPA filters. It left me unsure at times.
    • Concerns with Long Hair & Pet Fur - Since I have long hair and pets, I noticed that hairs can clog the dirty water tank and get stuck on the brush roller. This means I have to prompt the self-cleaning cycle more often than I'd like.

Our Expert Opinion of the Shark AV1010AE

I've spent some quality time with the Shark AV1010AE, and let me tell you, its suction power is something else. It effortlessly transitions between hardwood and carpet, making cleaning a breeze.

What I absolutely adore is the filtration system; it keeps my home feeling fresh and allergen-free.

Now, I won't lie, the price had me raising an eyebrow, but the unit feels sturdy and built to last.

And here's a fun twist - even though the specs suggested otherwise, I found it surprisingly easy to carry around my home.

Now, when I put the Shark AV1010AE up against other vacuums, a few things stood out.

Sure, the Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet has its merits, but the Shark just sucked up dirt like a champ.

The Hoover WindTunnel? Nimble, yes, but the Shark’s filtration just felt more on point.

And while I have a soft spot for the Kenmore Elite's pet-friendly features, the Shark seemed to have a knack for handling different flooring with ease.

Speaking of Sharks, I remember their older models, the AV1002 and the AV1001.

They were good, but the AV1010AE? It's like Shark took all the feedback and turned it up to eleven.

More power, a bigger bin, and that self-cleaning brushroll? Game changer.

Plus, they threw in new goodies like a HEPA filter and a tool specifically for pet hair.

    Talk about an upgrade!

Who Should Avoid the Shark AV1010AE?

    • Large Household Managers - Struggles with continuous heavy-duty cleaning.
    • Budget-Conscious Buyers -  Higher price point compared to basic models.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

    Pros of the Shark AV1010AE

    • Suction Power & Cleaning Performance - I got my Shark vacuum during a sale, and I've been pleasantly surprised ever since. The suction power is no joke. Whether it's my living room carpet or the kitchen tiles, this little robot leaves everything spotless.
    • Durability & Build Quality - I've had the Shark for a while now, and even with everyday use, it hasn't shown any signs of wear and tear. It's built like a tank and seems like it's here to stay.
    • Price & Value for Money - The value this Shark vacuum offers for its price point is honestly unmatched. It cleans so efficiently that it feels like having a dedicated cleaner without that recurring cost.
    • Weight & Portability - The way this robot moves around the house is truly impressive. It transitions seamlessly between different floor types and hasn't once gotten stuck in any tricky spots.
    • Filtration System Quality & App Integration - The app feature is such a lifesaver! Being able to track the cleaning path and get updates is super helpful. The filtration system? Outstanding! It’s managed to keep those pesky allergens at bay.

    Cons of the Shark AV1010AE

    • Constant Maintenance and Error Messages - I had to frequently clean and reset the vacuum due to persistent error messages about the dust cap and cliff detection, and it often struggled to self-dock correctly.
    • Ineffective Self-Emptying Feature - Despite its self-emptying claims, I found myself regularly having to manually empty the vacuum, defeating the purpose of its advertised feature.
    • Poor Mapping and Navigational Capabilities - The vacuum's mapping system was lackluster, lacking in detail and precision, and it frequently failed in accurate navigation and spot cleaning.

Other Multiple Floor Surface Vacuum Cleaner I Tested

I've also put the Roborock Dyad Pro, Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Plus, and the Homeika Cordless through their paces, but they didn't quite clinch our top spots for multi-floor vacuums.

Here is a short breakdown of some of their main features:

    Roborock Dyad Pro

In my experience testing the Roborock Dyad Pro, it's got its highs and lows.

It's great for smaller messes and doesn't need frequent water refills, but struggles with bigger bits and leaving floors streak-free.

While the roller detachment and inadequate drying can be annoying, it's a decent choice for light, everyday clean-ups.

    Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Plus

After trying out the Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Plus, I've got mixed feelings.

While it's effective at picking up dirt, its mopping feature and soft brush fall short, especially on tiles.

And heads up: it's pretty loud and might not come with all the advertised accessories.

    Homeika Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

After giving the Homeika Cordless Vacuum a spin, I found it shines on hardwood floors and is super handy for stairs.

However, it struggles with pet hair on carpets, and the bristles tangle a bit too easily for my liking.

Also, a heads-up: their customer support could use some improvement.

What Multiple Floor Surface Vacuum Cleaner Should You Avoid?

Honestly, I'd steer clear of both the Eureka Powerful Bagless Upright and the VacLife 25Kpa if you're shopping for a reliable multi-surface vacuum cleaner.

    Here’s why:

    Eureka Powerful Bagless Upright

Having personally tested the Eureka Powerful Bagless Upright, I've encountered a few hiccups.

Despite its promise, the vacuum often blows out dirt rather than sucking it in, and its build feels somewhat "toy-like."

Plus, dealing with pet hair blockages requires practically disassembling the unit—quite the hassle.

VacLife 25Kpa Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner

After personally testing the VacLife 25Kpa Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner, I've noticed a few concerns.

The battery life is disappointingly short, often dying within seconds of use after just a few months.

Additionally, the filter replacement process is quite unclear, making maintenance a challenge.

My Recommended Multiple Floor Surface Vacuum Cleaner: BISSELL 2252

The BISSELL 2252 stands out as the leading choice on my list due to its exceptional suction power and its smooth transitions from hardwood to carpet.

Not only is its construction robust, ensuring long-term durability, but it also operates with a surprising level of quietness.

This silent operation adds a touch of delight, making it even more commendable for daily use.
