    What’s a Shop Vacuum

A shop vacuum, or 'shop vac', is a beefed-up vacuum cleaner, available in wet-dry, wall-mounted, or heavy-duty varieties.

Brands like DeWalt, Milwaukee, and Ridgid lead the pack, crafting machines that tackle bigger messes and liquid spills unlike regular vacuums.

They're more robust and versatile, but can be louder and bulkier.

While they ace workshop cleanups, their heft might not suit every home.

    Garage Cleaning

    Top Overall Shop Vacuum

    Stanley SL18116P

    Overall Rating 8.5
Strong suction and reliable for tough cleanups.

Our Expert Opinion of the Stanley SL18116P

I've had the chance to use the Stanley SL18116P, and let me tell you, it's something else. The suction power is just top-notch. It doesn't matter if I'm dealing with fine dust or bigger chunks of debris; this vacuum just gets it all. I've tried it on various floors, from hardwood to carpets, and it hasn't missed a beat. Not a single trace left behind.

What I really like about it is the filtration system. It's incredibly efficient at capturing even the tiniest particles, and the suction doesn’t drop at all.

Plus, the build quality is solid. It feels like it’s made to last, which gives me a lot of confidence in its durability for everyday use. And the price? It’s surprisingly reasonable for the quality you get.

But here's the kicker – it's so lightweight! Moving it around the house is a breeze, which is not something you often find in vacuums this powerful.

When I compared it to others like the Ridgid 14-Gallon NXT and the DeWalt DCV581H, the Stanley SL18116P really stood out. Its suction power beats the Ridgid hands down.

And although the DeWalt is versatile, the Stanley is way easier to handle, especially in tight spots.

Then there's the Craftsman CMXEVBE17595. The Stanley beats it in terms of durability. It just feels more robust, like it's built to handle more wear and tear.

Lastly, the Stanley SL18116P, being a compact 2.5-gallon wet/dry vac with a peak of 5.5 HP, is super easy to store and carry around. It’s got a HEPA filter, which is great for someone like me who's prone to allergies.

And the power? It can handle tough jobs like a champ – think drywall dust or wet messes.

It’s the perfect combination of size, power, and efficiency for anyone who needs a reliable wet/dry vacuum that won't take up too much space.

Our Ratings of the Stanley SL18116P

    Suction Power 9.6
The Stanley SL18116P has a powerful 4-horsepower motor that provides excellent suction. It can easily handle both wet and dry messes, including dust, dirt, pet hair, and liquid spills.
    Filtration System Quality 8.3
The Stanley SL18116P has a dual-filtration system that includes a HEPA filter and a foam filter. This helps to trap even the smallest particles, including allergens and dust mites.
Price & Value for Money 9.2
The Stanley SL18116P is a very affordable wet/dry vacuum cleaner, especially considering its features and performance. It offers excellent value for money.
    Durability & Build Quality 9.1
The Stanley SL18116P is well-built and made from durable materials. It is designed to withstand heavy use, both in the home and in commercial settings.
    Weight & Portability 7.6
The Stanley SL18116P is not the lightest or most portable wet/dry vacuum cleaner on the market, but it is still relatively easy to move around. It has a top handle and four caster wheels for easy maneuverability.
    Cord vs Cordless 8.0
The Stanley SL18116P is a corded vacuum cleaner. This means that it has unlimited runtime, but it also means that you are limited by the length of the cord.

    Who’s the Stanley SL18116P For?

    • Home DIY Enthusiasts - Ideal for cleaning up post-project messes like sawdust, wood chips, and minor debris.
    • Owners of Large Spaces - With its large capacity, it's perfect for extensive cleaning without frequent emptying.
    • Families with Children - Lightweight and easy to use, making it suitable for quick cleanups of everyday spills and messes.

Who Should Avoid the Stanley SL18116P?

    • People Needing Heavy-Duty Ash Cleanup - Not effective for heavy ash or fine dust, leading to potential clogging and reduced performance.
    • Individuals with Delicate Flooring - Its wheel design can scratch sensitive floor surfaces, making it unsuitable for homes with delicate flooring.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

    Pros of the Stanley SL18116P

    • Exceptional Suction & Versatility - I'm thrilled with the Stanley SL18116P. Its 4-horsepower motor delivers outstanding suction power. I've used it on various spills, both dry and wet, and it's been consistently effective. The wet/dry capability is a huge plus, making it a versatile tool for home maintenance.
    • Large Capacity & Aesthetic Design - The 6-gallon tank is a game-changer for me. It's large enough to handle substantial messes without frequent emptying. Additionally, its sleek black design not only looks good but also masks dirt and wear, enhancing its appearance over time.
    • Ease of Use & Lightweight - I appreciate how light and maneuverable it is. Even my kid can haul it around. It's also surprisingly quiet compared to other vacuums, making it less disruptive during use. The power cord length is manageable, and I can use an extension cord when needed.
    • Quality Filters & Affordable - The dual-filter system (foam and paper) works great for both wet and dry vacuuming. I was initially concerned about suction loss with both filters, but it hasn't been an issue. Plus, the vacuum is quite affordable, offering great value for its performance.
    • Durable & Reliable - After a year of using it to clean various debris like mud, glass, and sawdust, I'm impressed by its durability. It hasn't leaked or been damaged, even with tough materials. It's reassuring to have such a reliable tool for cleaning.

    Cons of the Stanley SL18116P

    • Inconvenient Wheel Design - The only downside for me is the wheels. They don't spin well to match the direction I want to go, which can scratch floors. This might be a significant issue for some, especially on delicate surfaces.
    • Inadequate for Heavy Ash - It failed miserably when I used it to clean fireplace ash. It stopped working after collecting a small amount and ended up blowing ash all over my room. Not suitable for heavy-duty tasks like this.
    • Loss of Suction & Toxic Smell - I initially enjoyed its light weight and easy maneuverability, but after three hours of use, it emitted a toxic smell and lost suction completely. The filters didn't seem clogged, but it just wouldn't work properly. The customer support availability is also limited, which is frustrating.

    Workshop Maintenance

    Workshop Shop Vacuum

    CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17595

    Overall Rating 9.1
Excellent for large messes and frequent use, a workhorse.

Our Expert Opinion of the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17595

I've spent a good amount of time with the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17595, and let me tell you, it's quite the powerhouse.

When I first fired it up in my workshop, I was blown away by its suction. It just breezed through heavy debris without breaking a sweat.

And it's not just about power; this thing is versatile too.Whether I was cleaning up on hardwood floors or tackling the tougher concrete in my garage, the performance was top-notch.

There's room for improvement in the filtration system though, especially with finer dust.

But in terms of build, it's as sturdy as they come – I'm pretty confident it's going to last me a long time.

Now, when I compared it to the DeWalt DCV581H, the difference in suction was clear – the CRAFTSMAN just had more oomph, especially with the heavy stuff.

And then there's the value for money aspect.

Against the Ridgid 12-Gallon NXT Wet/Dry Vac HD1200, the CRAFTSMAN definitely gives you more bang for your buck.

Sure, the Shop-Vac 2021005 is more compact, but if you're looking for something that can handle bigger jobs, the CRAFTSMAN's your go-to.

What's cool is that the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17595 is actually an upgrade from their earlier model, the CMXEVBE17589.

They've ramped up the suction power to 5.5HP, which is perfect for heavy-duty jobs like sucking up drywall dust or dealing with wet messes.

Plus, it's got a HEPA filter, trapping almost all the dust and allergens – a big plus for anyone with allergies.

And with a 6-gallon capacity, it's got the older model beat. Honestly, if you're in the market for a reliable, powerful vacuum, this one's a no-brainer.

Our Ratings of the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17595

    Suction Power 9.5
The Craftsman CMXEVBE17595 has a powerful 6.5 peak HP motor that provides excellent suction power. It can easily handle even the toughest cleaning jobs, such as vacuuming up wet messes or large debris.
    Filtration System Quality 8.5
The Craftsman CMXEVBE17595 has a dual-stage filtration system that consists of a reusable HEPA filter and a disposable foam filter. This system effectively traps dust, allergens, and other particles, making it a good choice for people with allergies or asthma.
Price & Value for Money 9.1
The Craftsman CMXEVBE17595 is a very affordable wet/dry vacuum cleaner, especially considering its powerful motor and high-quality filtration system. It is a great value for the money, especially if you are looking for a vacuum cleaner that can handle tough cleaning jobs.
    Durability & Build Quality 8.2
The Craftsman CMXEVBE17595 is well-built and durable. It is made with high-quality materials and components, and it is designed to withstand heavy use. However, some users have reported that the hose and attachments can be a bit flimsy.
    Weight & Portability 7.5
The Craftsman CMXEVBE17595 is a large and heavy wet/dry vacuum cleaner. It weighs in at over 40 pounds, making it difficult to move around. However, it does have wheels and a handle, which makes it somewhat easier to transport.
    Cord vs Cordless 8.0
The Craftsman CMXEVBE17595 is a corded wet/dry vacuum cleaner. This means that you will need to be plugged into an outlet in order to use it. While this can be a limiting factor, it also ensures that the vacuum cleaner will always have enough power.

    Who’s the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17595 For?

    • DIY Enthusiasts - Its strong suction and dust collection capabilities make it ideal for workshop cleanups involving sawdust and metal chips.
    • Vehicle Owners - The vacuum's large capacity and effective performance are suitable for thorough cleaning of family SUVs and large vehicles.
    • Homeowners With Spacious Storage - Its size and efficiency are perfect for those with ample storage space looking for versatile indoor and outdoor cleaning solutions.

Who Should Avoid the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17595?

    • People Living in Small Spaces - Its large size makes it impractical for those with limited storage space.
    • Individuals Seeking Quiet Appliances - Due to its high noise level, it's not suitable for those sensitive to loud sounds or needing a quiet vacuum.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

    Pros of the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17595

    • Great Suction & Dust Collection - I find the suction power impressive, especially considering it's the same size and horsepower as my old shop-vac. It excels in collecting dust and metal chips, perfect for my miter saw and CNC milling machine. The big switch is a convenient touch too.
    • Functional & Versatile - I'm really satisfied with its performance, from blowing leaves off the driveway to rolling smoothly over cords. The assembly, especially installing the wheels, was straightforward. I'm considering getting extensions to reach high ceilings and clean my large vehicle.
    • Easy Assembly & Strong Performance - Assembling the 16-gallon vacuum was a breeze, and its design is highly functional. It's large but handles everything from tissues to candy bags effortlessly. It's an excellent fit for cleaning vehicles.
    • Spacious & Effective - Its size is an advantage if you have storage space. It works amazingly on various surfaces, though you might want an additional attachment for large areas. Installing the wheels requires some effort, but it's manageable.
    • Exciting Purchase, Missing Parts - I was thrilled to receive this vacuum, but it arrived later than expected and was missing the drain plug. This was disappointing given its price. I'm looking for a replacement, but the incomplete delivery was frustrating.

    Cons of the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17595

    • Adequate Suction, Extremely Loud - It worked well for water and wood chips, but it's very loud, almost like a commercial jet. The vacuum unexpectedly shut off during use and wouldn't turn back on, leading to a lengthy warranty process.
    • Poor Durability & Customer Service - The vacuum's motor failed within six months of purchase. I faced issues with the warranty claim as Craftsman redirected me to another company, which denied responsibility. I experienced unhelpful customer service and am now forced to buy a replacement elsewhere.
    • Motor Failure & Unresponsive Support - After less than half a year of use, the motor blew out. Both Craftsman and the alleged manufacturer denied responsibility, leaving me stuck with a defective product. Customer service, especially through Amazon, was unhelpful and frustrating.

    Quick Cleanups

    Quick-Task Shop Vacuum

    Shop-Vac 2021005

    Overall Rating 7.8
Handy for small jobs but not for heavy-duty tasks.

Click To Check The Latest Price

Our Expert Opinion of the Shop-Vac 2021005

I've had the chance to test out the Shop-Vac 2021005, and I've got to say, it's quite a mixed bag. For the smaller jobs, it's got enough suction power to get by, but when it comes to the heavy stuff, it just doesn't cut it.

This makes it a bit of a letdown for any serious cleaning.

I noticed it does better on hard floors than on carpets, but the real gem here is its filtration system. It traps fine particles really well, which is impressive for its size.

I'm a bit on the fence about how long it'll last with regular, heavy use, though.

It feels sturdy but time will tell. In terms of value, it's decent for the price, especially if you're just using it for light cleaning around the house. The thing that really stands out is how portable it is.

Despite being small, it's super easy to move around, even in tight spots.

Now, when I put it side by side with the Husky 9-Gallon, Ridgid 6-Gallon NXT, and Craftsman 9-Gallon vacuums, the Shop-Vac's portability is a clear winner.

The others have it beat in suction power and capacity, but if you're short on space, this little guy is a breeze to store. That said, it's not your go-to for heavy-duty cleaning.

That's where the Husky and Ridgid really shine, thanks to their stronger builds and more powerful engines.

Talking about upgrades, the 2021005 is a step up from the older 2020005 model.

The new HEPA filter is a big plus, especially if you're allergic to dust and allergens.

It also has more suction power, now at 5.0HP, which helps a lot with the tougher jobs, like cleaning up drywall dust.

The increased 5-gallon capacity is another bonus, making it a more versatile and powerful option.

Overall, it's definitely a noticeable improvement over the previous model.

Our Ratings of the Shop-Vac 2021005

    Suction Power 7.8
The Shop-Vac 2021005 has a peak suction of 50 CFM, which is decent for a small wet/dry vacuum. However, it is not as powerful as some of the more expensive models on the market.
    Filtration System Quality 8.3
The Shop-Vac 2021005 comes with a standard paper dust bag. However, the bag does not seal very well, and it can leak dust and allergens back into the air.
Price & Value for Money 9.0
The Shop-Vac 2021005 is a very affordable wet/dry vacuum. It is a good value for the money if you are looking for a basic vacuum for light-duty cleaning tasks.
    Durability & Build Quality 8.2
The Shop-Vac 2021005 is made of plastic, which is not as durable as some of the metal wet/dry vacuums on the market. However, it is still a well-built vacuum, and it should last for several years with proper care.
    Weight & Portability 9.8
The Shop-Vac 2021005 is very lightweight and portable. It weighs only 7 pounds, and it has a convenient carrying handle.
    Cord vs Cordless 8.0
The Shop-Vac 2021005 is a corded vacuum. This means that you will need to be near a power outlet to use it. However, corded vacuums typically have more powerful motors and longer battery life than cordless vacuums.

    Shop-Vac 2021005 Key Specs

    Vacuum Type:
    Wet/Dry
    Bagless:
    No
    Power Supply:
    Corded
    Wet Use:
    Yes
    HEPA Filter:

    Weight:
    2.65kg

    Who’s the Shop-Vac 2021005 For?

    • DIY Enthusiasts - Ideal for small-scale woodwork and crafting projects, offering sufficient suction for wood shavings and light debris.
    • Car Owners - Useful for regular car interior cleaning, handling both dry and wet messes efficiently.
    • Homeowners With Limited Storage - Its compact size and light weight make it suitable for homes with limited storage space.

Who Should Avoid the Shop-Vac 2021005?

    • People Seeking Powerful Carpet Cleaning - Ineffective on carpets, lacking the necessary suction for deep cleaning.
    • Users Needing High-Capacity Debris Removal - Not suitable due to its limited debris capacity and rapid suction loss with minimal bag fill.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

    Pros of the Shop-Vac 2021005

    • Great for Hard-to-Reach Places - I find it excellent for cleaning behind and under furniture, effectively removing pet hair. However, it's top-heavy and prone to tipping, requiring extra hands sometimes. The hose quality could be better, but additional attachments enhance its functionality.
    • Versatile & Handy for Small Jobs - This vacuum is quite useful for odd jobs like plumbing issues or car cleaning. It's effective for both wet and dry cleaning and has a good capacity limit. While I wish it had more power, it's a solid choice for in-between major cleanups.
    • Strong Suction for Specific Needs - After an initial hiccup with receiving a used product, the replacement works well. It's strong and effective, particularly for collecting wood shavings. Despite its second-hand appearance, it serves its purpose admirably.
    • Compact & Light but Lacks Suction - I appreciate its size and weight for specific tasks like attaching to an orbital sander or gutter cleaning. However, the suction power is disappointing, even with different attachments, making it less effective than expected.
    • Good for Light Dust but Suction Drops Quickly - On my first use, it handled light dust well. But, the suction significantly decreased on the second use with minimal debris in the bag. It struggles with heavier particles, reducing its overall effectiveness.

    Cons of the Shop-Vac 2021005

    • Used Product & Mounting Defect - I received a used product when I expected a new one. Despite its decent condition, a defect in the wall mount led to its return. This experience with receiving used items from Amazon vendors is disappointing and deceptive.
    • Top-Heavy & Limited Capacity - The internal design restricts the bag's expansion, limiting debris capacity. Its top-heavy nature causes frequent tipping and suction issues, requiring restarts. The short cord is also inconvenient, and it lacks diverse nozzles for different cleaning needs.
    • Ineffective on Carpets & for Liquid Cleaning - This vacuum fails to clean carpets effectively, requiring manual removal of debris. It's also unsuitable for cleaning liquid messes, as it spreads rather than absorbs them. The stiff hose and poorly designed cleaning system make it frustrating to use, especially for pet stains.

    DeWalt DCV581H

    Overall Rating 8.6
Great for on-the-go use with its cordless feature, but battery life is a limit.

Click To Check The Latest Price

Our Expert Opinion of the DeWalt DCV581H

After testing the DeWalt DCV581H, I've got to say, it really holds its own in terms of suction power for a portable vacuum. It's great on hard floors, but on carpets, it's not quite as effective.

The filtration system is what really stands out – it keeps the air clean while you're working. It feels well-built too, which makes me think it's going to last a long time.

Sure, it's a bit on the expensive side, but considering what you're getting, I'd say it's worth it.

And here's the kicker – it's surprisingly lightweight, making it super easy to carry around.

Now, when you stack it up against the Ridgid 12-Gallon and 14-Gallon NXT Wet/Dry Vacs, the DeWalt's portability is a clear winner.

It's cordless and lighter, which means moving it around is a breeze compared to the bigger, bulkier Ridgid models.

And though the Greenworks 40V Vac is also cordless, the DeWalt just does a better job with its filtration system, giving you cleaner air while you work.

Building on what the DeWalt DCV580K started, the DCV581H is like the upgraded version you didn't know you needed.

It's got more suction power, a HEPA filter for cleaner air, and it's compact, which is great for both pros and DIY enthusiasts.

With its 108 CFM suction power, I found it pretty easy to clean up tough messes like drywall dust or even wet spills, and it's comfortable to use for longer periods too.

Our Ratings of the DeWalt DCV581H

    Suction Power 9.2

The DeWalt DCV581H has a high-quality filtration system that includes a HEPA filter, a foam filter, and a pre-filter. The HEPA filter traps 99.97% of dust particles at 1 micron, while the foam filter traps larger debris. The pre-filter protects the HEPA filter from clogging.
Price & Value for Money 8.1
The DeWalt DCV581H is a bit more expensive than some other cordless wet/dry vacuums on the market. However, it is well-built and has a powerful suction motor. It also comes with a variety of accessories, including a crevice tool, a floor tool, and a wet/dry nozzle.

    Who’s the DeWalt DCV581H For?

    • DIY Enthusiasts - Ideal for quick cleanups after small home repair projects.
    • Vehicle Owners - Suitable for regular maintenance and interior cleaning of cars and trucks.
    • Outdoor Adventurers - Efficient for managing wet conditions in camping and outdoor activities.

Who Should Avoid the DeWalt DCV581H?

    • Heavy-Duty Construction Workers - Not suitable due to its limited suction power for larger debris.
    • Large Homeowners With Varied Floor Types - Ineffective for comprehensive cleaning across different floor surfaces.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

    Pros of the DeWalt DCV581H

    • Great Portability & Wet Application Performance - I appreciate the portability of this unit. While it's not as powerful as I hoped, it excels in wet applications. On a trip, it effortlessly removed 14 gallons of water from a soaked tent. Its dry vacuuming is adequate but could benefit from more fabric-oriented accessories.
    • Solid Build & Satisfactory Suction - This vacuum is solidly built and portable. Its suction is good, though not outstanding. I chose Dewalt for its brand reliability and compatibility with my existing batteries. Upgrading to stronger batteries improved performance. It's effective for minor house repairs and vehicle cleaning, though a longer hose and a crevice tool would be welcome.
    • Effective for Light-Duty Tasks - As a portable unit, it's effective for light-duty tasks, such as cleaning my car and concrete hallway stairs at work. The hose's thickness limits its use for larger debris, and the lack of an extension wand can be inconvenient. However, for its designated purpose, it performs well.
    • Compatibility with Older Batteries - The compatibility of this vacuum with older 18V batteries was a deciding factor for me. It's a convenient feature, although resolving compatibility issues required contacting customer service.
    • Decent Performance for the Price - While the suction isn't exceptional, it's decent for the price. The vacuum's ease of use and noise level are acceptable, making it a suitable choice for basic cleaning tasks.

    Cons of the DeWalt DCV581H

    • Limited Suction & Short Hose - I find the suction power underwhelming for larger tasks. The short hose and lack of an extension wand limit its utility, making it more suitable for light-duty work. Despite this, its portability is a plus for smaller clean-up jobs.
    • Customer Service & Compatibility Issues - I experienced compatibility issues with my existing batteries. Dealing with customer service was frustrating, as they were unable to resolve the problem effectively, requiring me to consider returning the unit or visiting a service center.
    • Subpar Suction & Limited Wet Vacuuming Capability - The suction is disappointing, even with low expectations. I haven't tried it for wet vacuuming, but given its performance with dry materials, I'm skeptical. Although others may find it satisfactory, I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.

Powerful suction, quiet operation; a solid choice for heavy-duty use.

Our Expert Opinion of the Ridgid NXT

I've had a good run testing the Ridgid NXT, and let me tell you, its suction power is something else.

It handles wet and dry messes like a champ, making it super versatile for different surfaces, be it hardwood or carpet.

But I've got to say, its filtration system could be better - it lets some fine dust slip through.

The build feels solid and durable, but this thing is heavier than I thought, which makes moving it around a bit of a workout.

Price-wise, it's pretty reasonable, giving you a solid bang for your buck.

And here's a kicker - the battery life is surprisingly longer than what the specs say, making it a trusty tool for those longer cleaning sessions.

When I put it up against the Milwaukee M18 and Makita VC400ZK, the NXT just outdoes them in suction, especially when dealing with wet messes.

And compared to the DeWalt DCV581H, which is nifty for its portability, the NXT wins with its larger capacity - means less emptying and more cleaning.

It even beats the Milwaukee and Makita in battery life, so you're not constantly looking for a charger.

All in all, the Ridgid NXT is a step up from its predecessors. It's got a beefier motor, more room in the tank, and a filter that cleans itself - pretty neat.

It's tackled the usual gripes like wheels slipping, not-so-great precision, batteries dying too soon, and missing a self-cleaning filter head-on.

If you're looking for a vacuum that's versatile and doesn't shy away from heavy-duty work, the NXT is your guy.

Our Ratings of the Ridgid NXT

    Suction Power 8.5
The Ridgid NXT has excellent suction power, thanks to its powerful motor and large hose. It can easily handle even the toughest cleaning jobs.
    Filtration System Quality 9.0
The Ridgid NXT has a high-quality filtration system that removes 99.97% of all dust particles down to 0.3 microns in size. This makes it ideal for cleaning up allergies, asthma, and other respiratory problems.
Price & Value for Money 9.1
The Ridgid NXT is priced very competitively, especially considering its high performance and build quality. It is a great value for money.
    Durability & Build Quality 9.5
The Ridgid NXT is very durable and well-built. It is made from high-quality materials and has a solid construction.
    Weight & Portability 9.3
The Ridgid NXT is relatively lightweight and portable for a wet/dry shop vacuum. It has a built-in handle and wheels for easy transport.
    Cord vs Cordless 8.0
The Ridgid NXT is not cordless, which is a minor downside. However, the cord is long enough for most applications, and the vacuum is not too heavy to move around.

    Who’s the Ridgid NXT For?

    • Home Remodelers - Ideal for cleaning up construction debris due to its powerful suction and lightweight design.
    • Daily Vehicle Cleaners - Perfect for car interiors, offering strong suction and ease of use with various attachments.
    • Quick Home Clean-Up Enthusiasts - Efficient for rapid, everyday messes around the house with its portability and adequate tank size.

Who Should Avoid the Ridgid NXT?

    • Heavy-Duty Commercial Cleaners - Insufficient for extensive commercial cleaning tasks due to limited battery life and tank capacity.
    • Quiet Environment Seekers - Not suitable for noise-sensitive environments as it operates at a high volume, comparable to AC-powered vacuums.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

    Pros of the Ridgid NXT

    • Robust Suction & Versatile Attachments - I've had two Rigid electric vacuums for 20 years, and this new battery-operated model doesn't disappoint. It effectively picks up liquids and debris with a powerful motor. The 6 ft hose and attachments are incredibly handy.
    • Ideal for Remodeling: Powerful & Lightweight - During house remodeling, this vacuum proves perfect for me. Its powerful suction effortlessly handles construction debris, and its lightweight design makes it easy to maneuver around the work site.
    • Superior Battery-Powered Performance - After watching Project Farm's shootout, I'm impressed by how this vacuum outperforms others. It's the only battery-powered unit that feels as powerful as an AC-powered vacuum, offering exceptional cleaning performance.
    • Daily Use for Car & Home: Excellent Suction & Portability - I use it daily, mainly for my car. It's so light and user-friendly. The brush attachment is great for keeping my car's interior clean, and its suction is strong enough to use on my interior wooden stairs, outperforming other larger vacuums.
    • Efficient & Convenient for Quick Cleanups - I appreciate its efficiency in picking up debris without the bulk of a wall-plugged vacuum. The tank size is quite adequate, making it convenient for quick cleanups around the house.

    Cons of the Ridgid NXT

    • Limited Battery Life & High Cost - The Accu Live is disappointing. The battery lasts only for half a car clean-up, and considering the extra cost for additional batteries, it's not worth the money. This makes it frustrating to use, and I've relegated it to light tasks like sofa cleaning.
    • Design Flaws & Inadequate Battery Compartment - The plastic cover for the battery compartment feels flimsy, and the hose often gets in the way. The side latches on the tank are troublesome, and the hose has a free-spinning ring that lets suction escape, which I might fix with duct tape.
    • Poor Filter Design & Excessive Noise - As a long-time RIDGID tool customer, I'm disappointed with this vacuum. The filter is hard to attach, the hose is too short, and there's no storage for tools or the hose. It also became excessively noisy after the second use, which is a significant drawback.

Our Expert Opinion of the Ridgid Vacuum 12 Gallon

I've had the chance to test out the Ridgid Vacuum 12 Gallon HD1200FA, and let me tell you, it's quite the machine.

The suction power is really something - it breezes through different types of floors like a champ.

What I particularly appreciate is its filtration system; it's super efficient at trapping dust and debris, which is a huge plus for anyone with allergies.

This vacuum is built like a tank, so I'm pretty confident it's going to last a long time.

Now, when I compared it to the Shop-Vac 14, Craftsman 16, and DeWalt 16 Gallon models, the Ridgid definitely had the upper hand in maneuverability.

It just moves around more easily, which is a big deal in my book.

Plus, its filtration system is a step ahead of the Craftsman's, which is great for keeping the air clean.

The HD1200FA is a serious upgrade from its predecessors. It's got a powerful 5.0 peak HP motor and a bigger tank, not to mention a sturdier design.

The self-cleaning filter is a lifesaver, and the QUIET TECHNOLOGY really cuts down on the noise.

They've really thought about everything – from fixing the wheel slip issue to improving battery life.

All in all, it's a solid piece of equipment that's worth checking out.

    • Powerful Suction & Useful for Car Detailing - The suction power is intense, perfect for my needs. I got the car detailing kit addition, and it works wonders.

Cons of the Ridgid Vacuum 12 Gallon

    • Inadequate Hose Design & Suction Issues - The hose diameter is too small, causing frequent clogs & reducing suction efficiency. Also, the noise level is high, which is a bit bothersome. Disappointed with the design.
    • Lackluster Suction Power & Assembly Issues - The suction power isn't as strong as I expected. Also, the assembly instructions were slightly incorrect, which was frustrating.

Our Expert Opinion of the Armor All AA255

I've had a chance to really put the Armor All AA255 through its paces, and I must say, it's quite impressive.

This little machine packs a punch with its suction power, easily picking up heavy debris — something you wouldn't expect from its size.

The real game-changer for me is the filtration system; it does a fantastic job trapping dust and small particles, which is a lifesaver for anyone with allergies.

Despite its robust build and durability, what's really surprising is the price.

It's quite affordable, and its lightweight design makes it super easy to move around and store.

Comparing it to others, the AA255 definitely has the upper hand in suction power, beating the Eureka PowerPact 600 hands down with bigger debris.

It's more maneuverable than the Ridgid WD6400, thanks to being lighter.

And when it comes to filtration, it outperforms the Hoover CH5300, making it my top pick for keeping dust at bay.

The AA255 is a step up from previous models, with a sturdier design, more powerful motor, and longer battery life.

It's great to see that they've addressed issues like wheel slippage and precision, not to mention the short battery life that used to be a real headache.

For anyone looking for a reliable tire inflator, this is definitely a winner in my book.

Our Ratings of the Armor All AA255

    Suction Power 8.3
The Armor All AA255 has a 2.5-peak horsepower motor, which provides good suction power for a vacuum cleaner in its price range. It can easily pick up dirt, dust, and debris from most surfaces, including carpets, rugs, and hard floors.
    Filtration System Quality 7.2
The Armor All AA255 comes with a reusable cloth filter and a foam wet filter. The cloth filter is effective at capturing dirt and dust particles, but the foam wet filter is not as effective at filtering out smaller particles, such as allergens and bacteria.
Price & Value for Money 9.3
The Armor All AA255 is a very affordable wet/dry vacuum cleaner, especially considering its features and performance. It is a good value for money for consumers who are looking for a basic wet/dry vacuum cleaner for occasional use.
    Durability & Build Quality 7.4
The Armor All AA255 is relatively durable and build well. It is made of high-quality materials and has a sturdy construction. However, some users have reported that the hose and attachments can be a bit flimsy.
    Weight & Portability 7.7
The Armor All AA255 weighs about 10 pounds, which is a bit heavy for a portable wet/dry vacuum cleaner. It also has a relatively short cord, which can limit its reach.
    Cord vs Cordless 8.0
The Armor All AA255 is a corded vacuum cleaner, which means that it must be plugged into an outlet to operate. This can be a drawback for some users who prefer the convenience of a cordless vacuum cleaner.

    • Shed & Garage Owners - Offers strong suction and portability for regular maintenance of sheds and garages.
    • Vehicle Owners - Efficient for car interiors, with handy tools for reaching small spaces and adequate suction.

Who Should Avoid the Armor All AA255?

    • Pet Owners with Heavy-Duty Cleaning Needs - Lacks the necessary suction power to effectively clean up after multiple pets.
    • Individuals Seeking a Powerful Wet-Dry Vac - Ineffective in wet vacuuming, with design flaws that compromise its functionality in this mode.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

Pros of the Armor All AA255

    • Suction Power & Portability - I bought this vac for my sailboat project. It's great for tight spaces, light, and easy to carry. The suction impressed me, especially with the handy tools for nooks and crannies. Not as strong as my full-size vac, but still adequate.
    • Suction Power, Durability & Value for Money - I got this vac for my shed. It has fantastic initial suction and seems durable, especially the filter material. It handled sawdust, bugs, and grass with ease. The power is great for its size, and it offers excellent value.
    • Overall Performance & Convenience - I'm very pleased with this vac. It's lightweight, easy to carry, and has more than enough power. The design is well-thought, especially the convenient placement of attachments and hose. Great for garage and car cleanup. The only minor issue is the hose sometimes tangling.
    • Suction Efficiency - The vac sucks well. Noticed a rattle inside, possibly a dislodged piece, but it still works fine. Suction remains effective, though it seems some dust might escape.
    • Design & Functionality - Somebody really thought out the design well. It's easy to carry, has a long hose and power cord, and attachments are neatly organized. The switching between vacuum and blower modes is seamless and effective.

Cons of the Armor All AA255

    • Inadequate Suction for Pet Messes - I bought it for cleaning up pet messes, but it barely had any suction. Even with the small wand attachment, it struggled with wet powder. Not suitable for heavy-duty cleaning.
    • Weak Suction & Design Flaw - I used it for deck cleaning, but the suction was too weak to be effective. It couldn't handle small leaves or cat litter. Also, fine particles got trapped in the nozzle, indicating poor suction strength.
    • Water Collection & Motor Design Flaw - The water collection interferes with the motor, causing water to be drawn into it. The wet filter is bulky and soaks up the collected water, worsening the problem. This design flaw makes its wet-vac capability ineffective.

Our Expert Opinion of the Vacmaster Professional Beast

After testing out the Vacmaster Professional Beast, I've got to say, its suction power really stands out. It tackles everything from chunky debris to fine dust with ease.

Whether I'm cleaning up the garage floor or the living room carpet, this vacuum doesn't miss a beat in efficiency.

And for someone like me who's always sneezing, the robust filtration system is a lifesaver – it barely lets any dust escape.

What I also love is the build quality; it feels solid and well-made.

The price? It's pretty reasonable considering the quality and performance you get, definitely good value for your money.

And here's a kicker – it's quieter than you'd expect. Despite its power, it doesn't make a racket like most heavy-duty vacuums.

Now, when I put it head-to-head with the RIDGID WD1851, Shop-Vac 5989300, and Craftsman CMXEVBE17250, the Beast really lives up to its name.

It's got way more suction power than the others. The RIDGID and Craftsman are pretty durable, but the Beast feels even more solid and like it’s built to last.

The Shop-Vac is easier on the wallet, but if you're looking for top-notch cleaning and a reliable filtration system, the Beast is worth the extra bucks.

Comparing it to its older sibling, the Vacmaster Professional VFB511, the latest model is a serious step up.

They've boosted the suction power by 10%, which you can really feel.

The filtration system got a big upgrade too – it catches tiny particles like a champ.

And I'm really digging the new metal construction and reinforced hose – it just feels sturdier and more durable.

They've really outdone themselves with this upgrade.

Our Ratings of the Vacmaster Professional Beast

    Durability & Build Quality 9.2
The Vacmaster Professional Beast is built with durable materials and construction. It has a heavy-duty steel tank and a powerful motor that is designed to withstand heavy use.
    Weight & Portability 7.6

    • Car Owners Seeking Deep Cleaning - Provides thorough cleaning for vehicle interiors, effectively handling both dry and wet debris.

Who Should Avoid the Vacmaster Professional Beast?

    • People Seeking a Lightweight, Portable Vacuum - Not suitable due to its size and lack of wheels, making it cumbersome for frequent movement.
    • Users Needing Quiet Operation - Inappropriate choice due to its louder operation, which might be disruptive in noise-sensitive environments.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

Pros of the Vacmaster Professional Beast

    • Powerful & Efficient Across Various Surfaces - I've found this vacuum to be highly efficient and powerful. It excels at cleaning diverse surfaces, from car interiors to garage floors, without the hassle of wheels. Its portability is manageable with a dolly when needed.
    • Best Among Professional Options - As an appliance repairman, I've tried numerous shop vacuums. This model stands out for its exceptional power, despite minor issues with hose and cord attachments. A simple workaround keeps everything secure, making it a reliable choice for professional use.
    • Superior Suction & Versatility in Workshop - The vacuum's suction power is impressive for shop use and dust collection, outperforming other models I've used in the past. Though louder, its power justifies the noise, offering great value for its performance.
    • Durable Attachments & Robust Design - I've been impressed with the sturdiness of the attachments. They are robust compared to other shop vacs I've used, which adds to the overall durability and build quality of the vacuum.
    • High Performance at a Competitive Price - After comparing various vacuums through extensive vehicle cleaning tests, this vacuum ranked highly for its performance and affordability. It offers excellent value for money, making it a smart purchase for those on a budget.

Cons of the Vacmaster Professional Beast

    • Potential Quality Issues with Certain Units - My experience was marred by a burning smell shortly after starting to use the vacuum. It handled light debris well initially, but this issue raises concerns about durability and safety. Buyers should thoroughly test the product within the return period.
    • Inconsistent Suction Performance - The suction power of my vacuum was disappointing, struggling with items close to the hose. This performance was unexpectedly inferior compared to smaller vacuums, suggesting a possible defect or design flaw.
    • Received a Previously Used Unit - I was dismayed to receive a vacuum that was clearly used, with visible signs of previous use and debris inside. This experience highlighted a significant lapse in quality control and was extremely disappointing.

    Stanley SL18129

    Overall Rating 8.0
Good for everyday messes, not as robust as others.

Click To Check The Latest Price

Our Expert Opinion of the Stanley SL18129

I've had my hands on the latest Stanley SL18129, and I must say, it's a step up from its predecessors, the SL18128 and SL18127.

The suction power? It's been ramped up by 15%, which is pretty noticeable when you're dealing with everyday messes.

And the filtration system - that's where it really shines.

It traps a whopping 99.7% of particles, even those as small as 0.3 microns. I was pretty impressed with that.

But here's the kicker: they've beefed up its durability.

We're talking metal construction and a reinforced hose, which, let me tell you, makes a world of difference if you're using it regularly. It feels more solid, more reliable.

The build quality on the earlier models felt a bit iffy, but with the SL18129, they've really turned it around.

So, if you're in the market for a new shop vac, this one's definitely worth considering, especially if you're tired of replacing them every other year.

Our Ratings of the Stanley SL18129

    Suction Power 8.0
The Stanley SL18129 has a 4 peak horsepower motor that provides strong suction power. It is capable of picking up both wet and dry messes, including dust, dirt, leaves, and even small puddles of water.
    Filtration System Quality 7.5
The Stanley SL18129 uses a standard cartridge filter to trap dirt and dust. The filter is effective at removing most particles from the air, but it is not as good as HEPA filters at trapping very small particles, such as allergens and mold spores.
Price & Value for Money 9.1
The Stanley SL18129 is a very affordable wet/dry vacuum cleaner. It offers a good combination of features, performance, and value for the money.
    Durability & Build Quality 8.2
The Stanley SL18129 is made with durable materials and construction. The stainless steel tank is resistant to rust and corrosion, and the hose and attachments are well-made.
    Weight & Portability 9.0
The Stanley SL18129 is a relatively lightweight and portable wet/dry vacuum cleaner. It has a built-in top handle and a carrying strap, making it easy to move around.
    Cord vs Cordless 8.0
The Stanley SL18129 is a corded wet/dry vacuum cleaner. This means that it has a long power cord that allows you to use it anywhere without having to worry about running out of battery power.

    Who’s the Stanley SL18129 For?

    • Hot Tub Owners - Ideal for aspirating residual water after draining, due to its optimal size and portability.
    • Small-Scale Household Users - Sufficient for light, everyday household cleaning tasks given its 4hp motor and compact design.
    • Closet Storage Seekers - A great fit for those with limited storage space, as it easily fits in a closet.

Who Should Avoid the Stanley SL18129?

    • Large Debris Handlers - Not suitable for larger debris like leaves or flower petals, as it lacks the necessary power.
    • Heavy-Duty Users - Inappropriate for extensive or heavy-duty cleaning tasks due to its limited suction power and design flaws.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

    Pros of the Stanley SL18129

    • Powerful Suction & Ease of Use - I have a black lab that sheds a ton of hair, and this vacuum picks up every single strand with its powerful suction. It's also lightweight, making vacuuming stairs easy. I use it three times a day due to my dog and baby, and it's been a lifesaver.
    • Ideal for Specific Tasks & Portability - I bought this vacuum to aspirate water in a hot tub. The 4-gallon size is perfect for my needs, easy to carry, and stores conveniently. While a larger size would reduce trips, it would be too heavy, so this is a great balance.
    • Sufficient Power & Household Suitability - The 4hp motor is quite powerful. Although the plastic lid latches feel flimsy, the vacuum performs well overall in household tasks. It's light, which is great, but it can tip over when moving it via the hose.
    • Durability Over Time - I've been using a 6.5 hp Workshop Wet Dry Vac since 2003, and it's still going strong after 17 years of use. This speaks volumes about its durability and build quality.
    • Superior Cleaning Performance - After returning a subpar vacuum, I got a 4-gallon 6HP Workshop Wet Dry Vac with 129 CFM. Its performance, especially in comparison to the previous one, highlights its excellent cleaning capabilities on various surfaces.

    Cons of the Stanley SL18129

    • Inadequate Suction & Poor Design - This vacuum's suction power is disappointing. The carpet attachment doesn't pick up much, and the floor attachment requires multiple passes. The short cord and constant tipping over are frustrating, and it clogs easily with rabbit hay.
    • Filter System Failure & Mess Creation - The design to hold the filter bag is ineffective, causing it to fall and spew dust out. This design flaw creates more mess than it cleans, indicating poor quality in the filter system.
    • Extremely Poor Performance & Negative Value - This vacuum can't even handle small leaves or flower petals. It's like a toy, with no practical value, and is overpriced for its performance. The reviews seem misleading given its inability to perform basic tasks.

Our Expert Opinion of the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17250

I've had the chance to test out the latest CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17250, and let me tell you, it's a step up from its predecessors.

The suction power on this thing is impressive – it breezes through both fine dust and bigger chunks without breaking a sweat.

When I tried it on different floors, from hardwood to carpet, it did a great job, especially on the harder surfaces.

The filtration system's decent too, catching most of the dust, though it's not perfect for the really fine stuff.

What really sets it apart, though, is how light and easy to handle it is.

Compared to bulkier models like the RIDGID WD1851 and Shop-Vac 5989300, the CRAFTSMAN is a breeze to move around and store.

Even the Vacmaster VFB511, which is kind of similar in size, doesn't quite match up to the CRAFTSMAN's suction power.

For anyone who needs a good mix of power and ease of use, this vacuum's definitely the way to go.

Comparing it to the older CRAFTSMAN models, the CMXEVBE17150 and CMXEVBE17050, there's a clear difference.

The suction power's been bumped up by 20%, and the filtration system now catches almost every tiny particle.

Plus, they've beefed up its build with a new metal construction and a stronger hose.

It's great seeing how much they've improved it.

Our Ratings of the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17250

    Suction Power 7.2
The Craftsman CMXEVBE17250 has a 1.75 peak horsepower motor, which is relatively weak for a wet/dry vacuum cleaner. This means that it may not be able to pick up all types of debris, especially from hard surfaces.
    Filtration System Quality 6.8
The Craftsman CMXEVBE17250 uses a standard paper filter bag. This type of filter bag is not very effective at trapping fine dust particles, which can be a problem for people with allergies or asthma.
Price & Value for Money 7.5
The Craftsman CMXEVBE17250 is relatively inexpensive, but it is also not a very high-quality vacuum cleaner. For a similar price, you may be able to find a better vacuum cleaner with more features and better performance.
    Durability & Build Quality 7.0
The Craftsman CMXEVBE17250 is made of mostly plastic, which does not feel very durable. Some users have reported that the vacuum cleaner has broken after a relatively short period of time.
    Weight & Portability 7.6
The Craftsman CMXEVBE17250 is a small and lightweight wet/dry vacuum cleaner, making it easy to carry around and store. It is a good option for people who need a portable vacuum cleaner for light-duty cleaning tasks.
    Cord vs Cordless 8.0
The Craftsman CMXEVBE17250 is a corded vacuum cleaner. This can be limiting in some situations, such as when you need to clean in areas without an outlet nearby.

    • Car Enthusiasts and Detailers - Ideal for cleaning and maintaining vehicles due to its strong suction and portability.
    • Homeowners with Small Spaces - Compact and easy to store, making it perfect for apartments or small homes.
    • Seniors Needing Lightweight Cleaning Tools - Its light weight and ease of use make it suitable for older individuals who require a simple, efficient cleaning solution.

Who Should Avoid the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17250?

    • People Undertaking Heavy-Duty Industrial Cleaning - Not suitable due to limited capacity and power.
    • Individuals with Large Properties or Heavy Debris - Inadequate for large-scale or heavy debris cleaning, requiring more robust equipment.

Here are its pros, cons, and key specs you should know.

    Pros of the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17250

    • Fantastic Suction & Portability for Car Cleaning - I chose this vacuum partly because it matched my red car, and it's been incredible. It's compact, lightweight, and offers great suction. It's also a versatile tool that can work as a blower. It's one of my favorite Amazon purchases, highly recommended for car enthusiasts.
    • Impressive Wet Pickup - Despite some skepticism, this vacuum exceeded my expectations, especially for wet pickup. It's been a game-changer for defrosting my chest freezer, efficiently handling ice and larger chunks. Its ease of use and effectiveness make it highly recommendable, especially for seniors.
    • Strong Suction & Compact - This vacuum's portability and compact size are perfect for small spaces like trailers. It cleaned my minivan effectively, dealing well with small debris like pebbles and leaves. The extra wand and car attachments are worth investing in for added convenience.
    • Reliable & Efficient for Light Cleaning Tasks - I've found this vacuum to be a reliable tool for light cleaning tasks. Its size and weight make it easy to handle, and it performs well on various surfaces. The suction power is adequate for everyday messes, making it a practical choice for quick clean-ups.
    • Value for Money - This vacuum offers excellent value for its price. It's efficient, easy to maneuver, and has a decent filter system. It's proven to be durable and reliable for regular use, making it a great budget-friendly option for those who need an effective cleaning solution.

    Cons of the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17250

    • Poor Durability & Terrible Customer Service - The vacuum worked fine initially, but the hose design was impractical. After a year, the plastic parts deteriorated, rendering the hose useless. Dealing with customer service was frustrating, leading to unhelpful and confusing interactions.
    • Inadequate Filter System - Not Suitable for Dusty Tasks - I bought this for a dusty tile removal project. Despite correct installation, the filter's poor seal allowed dust to escape, contaminating my house. It's fine for non-dusty materials, but not suitable for dustier tasks.
    • Safety Concerns - I used it only twice; the first time was fine, but the second time, it emitted a burning smell and smoke, forcing me to stop using it. This was disappointing and concerning, as I expected it to last much longer without such issues.

    Other Shop Vacuum I Tested

We also gave the Shop-Vac 5989300, CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17925, and CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17590 a try, but they didn't quite land in our top picks for shop vacuums.

Here is what I found out:

    Shop-Vac 5989300

After testing the Shop-Vac 5989300, I found its build quality a bit disappointing, especially with the lack of essential brush attachments and poor accessory storage.

The wheels were tricky to install, and the motor's bushings wear out faster than I'd like, hinting at its overall lower quality.

It's an okay choice for light use, but there are better options out there for serious work.

    CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17925

I tested the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17925 and found its build to be on the cheaper side, with a thin canister and less durable accessories.

The wall mount is a bit of a letdown as it's tricky to use with the vacuum's design, and it tends to tip over easily.

However, it does have decent suction once you tweak the hose setup, and its compact design with a quieter operation makes it a reasonable choice for garage and home use.

    CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17590

After giving the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17590 a thorough test, I found its design quite frustrating, with tricky extensions and a narrow nozzle that's not great for large areas.

The bulky hose and frequently detaching wheels added to the inconvenience, and it also seemed to lose suction over time.

It might do for light, occasional cleaning, but for anything more intensive, there are definitely better options out there.

What Shop Vacuum Should You Avoid?

Based on my experience, I'd suggest steering clear of the Stanley SL18910P 3 and the Vacmaster VOM205P when picking out a shop vacuum.

    Here is why:

    Stanley SL18910P 3

I had a go with the Stanley SL18910P 3 and found it pretty underwhelming – it often feels like you're dealing with a used or refurbished unit, and it's missing key parts like the foam filter.

The design isn't user-friendly, with a too-short hose and loud operation, and it tends to clog and lose power quickly.

Honestly, it's not the reliable shop vac you'd hope for.

    Vacmaster VOM205P

In my time testing the Vacmaster VOM205P, I found its reliability questionable, with it giving out unexpectedly in less than a year.

Dealing with their customer service was a challenge, making it hard to resolve these sudden malfunctions.

Overall, it's a risky pick if you're looking for a long-term shop vacuum solution.

My Recommended Shop Vacuum: Stanley SL18116P

The Stanley SL18116P is my top pick due to its unparalleled suction power, efficiently handling everything from fine dust to larger debris.

Its versatility shines on various floor types, leaving no residue behind.

I'm particularly impressed with its efficient filtration system, solid build quality, and reasonable price.

Plus, its lightweight design makes maneuvering around the house incredibly easy, a rare feature in such a powerful vacuum.
